Builder Settings
Admin Tab Bar
Configure a dedicated tab bar for admin and staff users, separate from customer navigation, with its own destinations, style, and visibility behavior.
Shown to internal operational users, not customer users.
Supports broader internal navigation than customer tab setup.
When enabled, admin/staff users see this tab bar instead of standard tabs.
Admin navigation controls
Dedicated admin destinations
Create a separate set of tabs for internal screens like operations, orders, team, and dashboard.
Independent visual setup
Adjust style independently from the regular user bottom tab bar.
Per-screen visibility
Control where admin tabs appear across internal app flows.
Starter tab generation
If enabled with no tabs, Builder can auto-generate starter tabs from available non-auth screens.

Common mistakes to avoid
Mixing customer and admin routes
Keep internal operational screens in admin tabs and leave customer journeys in user tabs.
Missing target verification
Re-check all admin tab targets after screen list changes to avoid dead navigation.
No role-based QA pass
Test with admin/staff and non-admin contexts to ensure the correct tab bar is shown.
