Configuration flow

  1. Open App Settings & DeployAdmin Tab Bar.
  2. Enable admin tab bar.
  3. Add/edit tab label, icon, and target screen.
  4. Configure appearance and per-screen visibility.
  5. Save changes.

Validation checklist

  1. Keep tab count at 6 or fewer.
  2. Use admin-only destinations to keep customer UX clean.
  3. Confirm auth screens remain excluded.
Tips

Common mistakes to avoid

Mixing customer and admin routes

Keep internal operational screens in admin tabs and leave customer journeys in user tabs.

Missing target verification

Re-check all admin tab targets after screen list changes to avoid dead navigation.

No role-based QA pass

Test with admin/staff and non-admin contexts to ensure the correct tab bar is shown.
